Home Health Care Bill Introduced in the House    / Senator Shaheen Co-Sponsor

We are pleased to report that (H.R. 1825), the Home Health Care Planning Improvement Act of 2017, was introduced in the House by Representative Chris Collins (R-NY). The bill was introduced along with six bipartisan cosponsors. Passage of this legislation will make it possible for nurse practitioners to provide necessary services for their Medicare patients by allowing them to certify their patients to be eligible for home health care services. As previously reported, the bill was recently introduced in the Senate (S.445), and we encourage you to please reach out to your members of Congress and ask them to cosponsor H.R. 1825/S.445, the Home Health Care Planning Improvement Act of 2017.
