Project ECHO

Posted 5 months ago by Jennifer Thompson

To all NH NPs,

The NH Citizens Health Inititiave and UNH Institute for Health Policy and Practice are in the process of a planning project for Project ECHO in New Hampshire.  Project ECHO is a case-based, distance learning model that has an impressive track record for connecting community providers with experts for shared learning and improved care.  Project ECHO provides opportunities for community-based providers to join in shared learning together with expert faculty. The Project ECHO models uses cases from the daily practice of the community providers to get expert feedback and share best practices.

The NH Citizens Health Inititiave and UNH Institute for Health Policy and Practice are reaching out to stakeholders across the state to understand their needs with both a survey and some stakeholder interviews.  Input from NH Nurse Practitioners is very important, especially given the focus of the first ECHO on MAT for OUD, focusing on nurse practitioner education and in community practice.

Please consider taking this survey.  Your input is very important.

The survey can be found here: https://unh.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0enUYVPkk1u6Y9n
